What's around the corner

Those close to me know that I have always walked through life with a kind of awareness of what's to come, a sense of what's around the next corner. While this may sound almost like seeing the future let me assure you it is not! Looking into the future, for those that are able, is an entirely different thing and involves immense focus and concentration. What I am talking about is a kind of ever present awareness of what's around you and what's to come that occurs in what I call 'pings' on the mental radar. A small gentle pop of knowledge about how certain things currently going on in your life are likely to play out just down the path a little ways. While this certainly allows one to stroll along their path in life with a kind of casualness, lends a sense that the person is never caught off guard, seems to take almost everything in stride no matter how bleak things might be it also comes with a significant responsibility.

Even without actually "knowing" the future, having a clear sense of what is likely to come care must be taken in what you divulge to those around you. Telling someone something not only can, and often does, alter the outcome that was going to be it can also make things turn very sour. It's almost like being told a secret that absolutely cannot tell anyone about no matter what. Even if that secret is that something unpleasant, something bad, something even truly terrible is going to happen you cannot attempt to alter the outcome....attempting to do so will only make things even worse for all involved.

What's the good part about having this kind of foresight you might ask?
Firstly, it allows the one with it to step carefully and enables them to make decisions that might seem completely absurd to everyone around them with the knowledge that it is the right decision no matter what.

Secondly, it can assist in saving those close to you from making incredibly bad decisions. Not by blatantly telling them what you know or have foreseen but by doing your best to guide them with care in order to avoid taking that dark path, making that bad or reckless decision. Alas, no matter what you do sometimes those you care about will not hear what you are trying to tell them, since it might be a little vague out of necessity, and blindly proceed.

At the other end of the spectrum are those that have the foresight and don't listen to it themselves. They are given the information, received the "pings" in the mental radar but disregard it for whatever reason. Ignoring this information, no matter how ridiculous it may seem, will bring nothing but sadness, heartache, possibly even great negative effect in one's own life. From personal experience, of the few times I have chosen to ignore that "little voice" things have turned out varying degrees of bad.

Additionally, that "little voice" will also tell you when you need to stop talking because you are saying too much. When you are about to divulge something to someone that they should not be privy to because it will potentially effect decisions they are going to make or are even in the process of making. Like a kind of security check that is ever present.

Full Disclosure...?

This topic is not an easy one to address. It poses many questions most of which are subjective in their answers because of so many possible different situations and the variables of people involved.

How does one determine when, or even if, to divulge information about the nature of their being to someone?
When is the right time to sit someone down and tell them what you have learned of your true nature?
Where do you begin explaining things to them so that they don't run from the room screaming?

These questions are at the heart of a huge struggle that many of us face at one point or another, usually multiple times within a single age. The best way to approach this topic is to break it down into a few different factors addressing each individually.
  • secrecy
  • discretion
  • open info

Secrecy - Keep it to yourself

To borrow from history to illustrate how this is generally the best course of action until such time as determinations of trust or open mindedness can be made.....the burning times. For those of you that do not know what is meant by that, simply put it is a period of about 300 years during the crusades and the inquisition when many were put to death for varying reasons. I mention this period not to get into debate about the whys and wherefores of it but only to illustrate what has happened when someone speaks of things not within the 'norm' of the times, granted it is an extreme example but I chose it for that very reason.

While it can certainly be a burden to know what you may about your nature and not be able to talk to anyone about it, the fact of that matter is most people are not ready to hear such seemingly fantastical things as other realms of existence, beings of energy and spirit, past lives being remembered. Even just a simple concept such as whether the paranormal exists or not can incite debate in even a small group of people, so imagine what it would be like to try and explain such wondrous things as other realms. The fact of the matter is, keeping the knowledge to oneself is generally the best course of action on a day to day basis.

Attempting to be too open about these things, even to some of the closest of friends, can result in being shunned, mocked, even outcast for any number of reasons. For anyone that has experienced the isolation of being an outcast after putting faith in someone too soon, this will sound all too familiar.

Discretion - When to test the waters

As mentioned above, confiding in someone before they are perhaps ready or open to hearing such things can have disastrous results and even destroy friendships/relationships. So how does one go about deciding when it is safe to 'test the waters' with this information? There is no easy answer to that, there is no formula for figuring out when is the right time.

The best advice I can give on this topic is be patient, be cautious, and be selective.

Be patient for the right moment to start testing the waters with little bits of information about these topics. Just touch on them a little bit here and there and gauge the reactions of the person(s) before sharing the next tidbit of information that you are just aching to tell them. Proceeding in this manner allows you to better ascertain exactly how far you can go, how quickly, and how open the person is to it. Let them set the pace.

Be cautious about exactly how much you choose to divulge and how quickly you do so. Throwing out a tidal wave of information nine times out of ten will result in the person you are trying to open up to being completely freaked out and thinking you should be in a cosy padded room. Even if the one you are sharing with is receptive to a greater or lesser degree, it doesn't mean you should fill them in on everything. Some people can handle only so much fantastical information before their heads explode, so pace yourself as I mentioned earlier and let them not only the pace but also the depth that they are open to.

Be selective about whom you begin to open up to about these things. Nothing worse than jumping the gun thinking someone is open to, or ready, to hear about the realms and what not then finding out they are far from it (yes I speak from personal experience). Determining whether to take the chance in starting to open up to someone takes time, experience, and basically being observant to their reactions when you test the waters.

Open info

When you have finally broken the ice and opened up to someone about everything there still are challenges involved.  While you may no longer need to worry about being able to talk about your nature, tell that someone when you are feeling things that are 'other worldly', having memory resurgences, etc it still doesn't mean you can go all out with telling them everything about everything. There are many many things that are either too difficult to put into words that others may not grasp, no matter how open they are, some things that are simply not meant to be shared or spoken about with just anyone....you get the idea.

Energy = Magick

Energy can neither be destroyed nor created, it can only change form.

This is a concept I happen to agree with, more or less. No doubt interesting debate could be had on just that statement alone but, for the purposes of this article, it is the starting point. Energy comes in all kinds of shapes and forms from basic electricity to the energy contained within a black hole, but regardless of where it currently resides energy is something that can be manipulated and guided to influence, foresee, affect not only things but also the people around you.

Utilising the energy around us is not something that should be taken lightly nor is it necessarily easy to do, it takes focus, strength of will, and a relatively firm grasp of one's emotions in order to adeptly direct the energy for your desired purpose. Without each element I just mentioned things can go terribly wrong, they can just not work, or they can actually backfire upon the one doing the manipulating. So let me break down each of the three major points noted above...

Focus
For the most part this should be fairly self explanatory. Without focus of mind and intention how can one possibly direct something towards their desired outcome? Focus is the first essential point that must be learned before beginning to mess about with energy manipulation, and a focus that is unwavering in purpose. Think of it like meditation but instead of completely clearing the mind the aim is to clear all other distractions and keep only the purpose you're directing the energy towards foremost in your thoughts.  Practice of focus is very important lest your mind wander in the midst of energy manipulation and bring about undesired results.

For best results it's ideal that the purpose the energy is being directed in is a relatively simple one, for example..when sitting on a bus thinking very clearly and directing outwards "don't sit next to me". Sounds amusing I know but I can assure you it's helpful from time to time, I speak from experience. If the desired purpose is too complex it can cause a kind of confusion within the energy and the results can be erratic and unpredictable.

Strength of Will
Will power is what ultimately directs the energy in the desired purpose. It's all fine and dandy for one to say they have a strong will, are determined in what they do but the reality is that few possess the strength of will required to truly become adept at directing and manipulating energy. It takes an unwavering will power, a will that can be focused on a purpose and be completely unshakable regardless of what factors may come into play or distractions may present themselves within your surroundings.

Like focus, it is very important that your will not wander in the midst of energy manipulation however unlike focus will is not something that can be exactly practiced, it must be built from within. While they may seem similar, focus and will are in fact very different. Think of will power as a total commitment to the intended purpose one has in mind, not merely thinking of it and having clarity of intention in the mind but feeling that commitment throughout your being in a sense.

Grasp of Emotions
Almost more important than either of the two above factors to energy working is a firm grasp or control of one's emotions. Emotions not only drive energy but they can magnify, intensify energy during manipulations and workings. Whether it be positive or negative the energy related to emotional states is intense, generally chaotic, and abundant hence the importance of having a grasp over your emotional state of mind when doing energy workings. Think a time when you experienced either intense joy/happiness or anger for that matter, then think of how energetic you felt during that moment and you will begin to understand.

Without a firm grasp of your emotional state during energy workings it's possible for the desired purpose to become 'tainted' by an errant reaction to something remembered, something in your surroundings, something currently on your mind even if in the back of it. The risk is of course potentially significant depending on what emotion leaks into the energies at the time of the manipulation, whether the emotion is positive or negative in nature it can cause an extremely unpredictable outcome.

While the three things I have just outlined are the sort of cornerstones of energy working and manipulation there are many, many other aspects that should be taken into consideration before jumping into any kind of workings.

The three fold law is at the top of the list in my opinion which simply put is....whatever one puts forth shall be returned to them three fold. Do not take this lightly folks! It may not be the next day, or even the next year, could well be the next lifetime but believe me eventually it WILL catch up with you. Don't take for granted that if you believe you are only putting forth positive energy and effects that it will be good fortune returned to you, the effects of energy manipulation are like ripples in a pond, ever widening and colliding on the return trip.

Consider carefully the potential effects before you engage in any kind of energy manipulation.

One final point....
When you are working with energy that you are intending to put forth to somehow effect another you MUST be conscious of the fact that you do not know what the multi-verse has planned for their path and your workings may directly interfere with that. Hopefully I don't need to spell it out that the multi-verse doesn't exactly appreciate that and will let you know, very likely in a really harsh manner.

Invisians, Realms, and the Veil

In the last post I mentioned a few terms that not everyone may be familiar with; invisians and realms. There is another term that I will talk about as well, the veil.

First let me talk about 'invisians'....

Simply put, an invisian is a being of the invisus. The invisus is the various realms on the other side of the veil that many different kind of spiritual beings come from. You could think of the invisus like a large country that is divided up into provinces or states. Each of those provinces or states is a realm unto itself that is home to one, or sometimes more, races of spiritual beings or invisians. The list of the various types of invisians is long and not something I wish to get into at this point, perhaps in a later article I will, suffice to say that many of the mythological beings you have likely read about and/or heard about are indeed in actuality invisians.
For the record, I cannot tell you where the term invisus came from or even how I came to know it, just something that has always been there in the recesses of my mind, an ingrained knowledge of sorts.

     On to realms....

In the most basic sense, a realm is a birth or creation place of a spiritual being. You could think of a realm as a country, as a city, as pretty much anything one might wish to envision as a population centre. Although above I used the analogy of a country divided into provinces or states in reference to the realms it was to help illustrate. In the strictest sense, a realm would be more akin to something like a nebula cloud wherein each 'mote' is one of the invisians that populate or reside in that realm. It is comprised of energy versus anything truly solid as it might be in this realm of the physical but nevertheless within the reality of the realm it holds similar structure to a city or country with governments of a sort (varying from realm to realm in the exact make up of it) social gathering places, etc. A little contradictory it might seem but I trust you get the idea.

     The veil....

As the name implies, the veil is a kind of curtain separating the physical realm(s) from the spiritual ones. Unlike a curtain that is tenuous and more or less easily passed through, the veil is more of a barrier preventing free flowing traffic from the invisus to the physical. You may be asking yourself why that would be needed....were the veil to come down and this realm be openly exposed to the other side all the magicks and energy would come flooding through, the very laws of physics may well become completely reversed or utterly negated. One cannot say for sure what would happen but what is known is that the veil is an essential part of the laws of the muli-verse, is basically eternal and has been in place for as long as any can remember.
Something else that you may be wondering is if the veil is a barrier of control how is it there are invisians here? That's very simple to answer, we may be here but we are in physical vessels and therefore not in our natural form or state, that is pretty much the only way that invisians, or other spiritual beings, can cross through the veil. Having said that, there are infrequent circumstances in which a being from the other side of the veil slips through in their natural form but the duration with which they are able to remain before the veil corrects the error is generally very short.

The beginning

When getting into discussions about energies, the ethereal, the realms and the beings therein (what I refer to as invisians) the questions I am most often asked are...when did you know? and do you ever question it? Both of those I feel are interesting questions and deserve to be answered individually so here we go....

     When did you know?

To be perfectly frank I don't think I can pinpoint an exact moment when I knew I was of the invisian realms with any certainty. Looking back I can recall times as a very young child with a sense of sitting in my head and watching, almost like a movie, what transpired before my eyes. My spiritual self, if you will, being fully awake and aware of everything but unable to act upon most of it because I had to wait for my physical self this age to catch up and mature enough to handle the load on mind, body and spirit that being fully awake would place on me.
Numerous times through my adolescent years were moments when I began to feel comfortable enough with the circle of friends I had at the time to begin letting it out, even on occasion telling someone at least part of the story because I felt a strong connection to them. There were even times when I would bump into someone and immediately have that sense of .. "Hey! I know you! How long has it been....2 or 3 centuries?" but of course I couldn't just blurt that out and not be seen as a complete freak or mental case by my peers. Nevertheless I would whole heartedly embrace the friendship, relationship, what have you and follow the path where it led me.
So I suppose the answer to this question comes down to a simple matter of, I feel though I have always known...just had to wait for the part in this realm to be ready to accommodate me.

     Do you ever question it?

This is a little more complicated to answer because first the determination of questioning exactly what must be made. Is it questioning the nature of my spiritual self? The things that suddenly materialize into your thoughts that you cannot explain where they came from or how? I could go on and on with posing the questions so instead I will do my best to answer in general and at the same time clearly and concisely.
No I have never questioned the things that I have felt, "known", seen (as in what's around the corner to come), or even the memories of ages past that resurface from time to time triggered by something or someone. Throughout this age I have not felt the inclination to question these things because they have always felt like a part of my truer being. This is not to say it hasn't been challenging at times to maintain that open third eye, that view of oneself that keeps you moving forward in this realm. The things we hear every day, the media we are bombarded with, the thoughts, opinions, and beliefs of this age constantly work to suppress the kind of thinking that allows one to open their mind and spirit and embrace their nature. Having said that, in the past ten years or so I have noticed a very significant change in that paradigm of thought.
So how does one go about keeping their mind open to the flow of things to come as they will? To embrace the memories and accept them for what they are? To allow oneself to hold true to what they feel with absolute conviction to be their nature? There is no easy answer to that my friends...it takes effort, constant reminding that you are not crazy for thinking these things, seeking out information that FEELS right to you and also recognizing those connections in the people you meet that help it to flourish.
